Health care industry experience required.

Software Engineers (3) - Aiken, South Carolina

Pay: DOE - $40-45/hr.

EGS, Inc. is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to provide support software engineering services to upgrade a legacy manufacturing execution system (MES) to a new commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) MES product utilizing Java and Microsoft SQL Server. The software engineering services include converting legacy FORTRAN code to Java, developing embedded SQL routines and implementing facility work flow in the new COTS MES. Services will also entail developing of software documentation and defining and executing test plans.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience/Skills: Candidate must demonstrate a minimum of three (3) years experience in:

Work Hours: A 40 hour work week is scheduled utilizing a 9/80s (9 hours/day, five days on week A and 4 days on week B) work schedule.  Each work day has a 30-minute unpaid lunch.  A variable work schedule may be required to meet business needs.
